Debbie Abbenante has over 30 years of experience working with animals.

She self taught herself to groom dogs when she was 15. She has titled many dogs in Obedience Competitions and has been a dog training class instructor for over 25 years and has wonderful public speaking abilities.

She has worked with dogs in movies and commercials and has competed in
Obedience, Herding, Agility, Frisbee and French Ring Sport.
She has been a judge for 4-H Obedience Competitions.
Debbie has also competed in barrel racing in rodeos!

She also has 10 years of vet tech experience and has worked with her dogs in Therapy Work.

Debbie is also a U.S. Air Force Veteran and her husband Shorty served in the US Army Reserves for 9 years.

She and her husband, Shorty, both share the same love of animals.
Debbie stresses the importance of spaying and neutering, not only to control the
pet population, but a spayed or neutered pet is a much more loving pet, neutered males don't have the urge to want to roam and find a girlfriend.
Plus, it just makes for a much healthier pet, not having to worry about certain health issues that can arise with a "whole pet."

Debbie is very much involved in Pet Rescue, Collies being her number one priority.

Who is that under that beard?
It is Shorty, Debbies's husband playing Santa for 5 years straight at
Petsmart in Gainesville, FL.
All proceeds from the pictures went to local pet rescues.
This was a story about two 8 day old puppies that were found in a trash can at a
local Walmart when Debbie and Shorty were living in South Carolina last year.
Debbie took in the puppies, hand raised them and then found loving homes for them.
